Machon Maayan is a specially designed, multidisciplinary one-year program in Israel for young women like you – dedicated to becoming committed, observant Jewish leaders in the Jewish world.

In our program, staff and students together get to the core of life's issues through in-depth Torah study, cutting-edge seminars and experiencing living Judaism.

You have the opportunity in Machon Maayan to develop and utilize your unique attributes – participating in class, contributing to group life, making choices about classes, initiating activities, and exploring your religious sensitivity.

Your diverse backgrounds make for fascinating discussions in the Jewish Studies courses where everyone can add to the text analysis or add her individual perspective.

You will find a synergy between all aspects of the program: on tour, in workshops, working in the community, during the Shabbatonim, and when enjoying home hospitality. What you learn in the classroom, you'll meet on tour. You will learn about the people you meet in the street in the special seminars on Israeli society. That's how it works.

Our internship project is the core of our leadership program. Not only will you have opportunities to design and execute activities for your peers, you will also be involved in real-life community work in the field, making your personal imprint on Israeli society.
