Touro Israel Option - Eligibility
The program is open
to US residents and is subject to the admission policy and
procedure of the Touro Israel Option.
If you study in Machon Maayan and
are accepted for the Touro Israel Option you can gain up to 32
credits in one year. Transcripts are issued only by the Office of
the Registrar of Touro College in New York.
Please note:

Students who wish to participate on the Touro College
Israel Option (TCIO) must meet the admissions
requirements of the Lander College of Arts and
Sciences, a division of Touro College, and of Machon
Maayan.

A Machon Maayan student who is not participating on the
Israel Option but subsequently attends Touro College
may transfer credits earned abroad towards their Touro
College degree in accordance with policies established
at the college.

Preliminary registration for TCIO should take place
with Touro College prior to the student's departure for
Israel. Subsequently, each semester's course selection
will take place at Machon Maayan conducted by Machon Maayan and
Touro personnel.

Touro's tuition for TCIO will be $450 for full year
students above that charged by the Machon. Touro will
honor letters of scholarships from the OU Israel
Center, NCSY and the Machon, as well as other sources
of scholarship, towards the cost of the educational
component of the Machon.
